February 6, 1962 ~ September 5, 2018

Resided in: Fremont, California

Dennis Joseph Cramer passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2018, from heart failure. Dennis was born at Providence Hospital in Oakland and spent most of his life in the Bay Area. Dennis was a father, brother, son, friend, coach, and most of all, a person who always put others before himself. When his step-father, Robert Chavarria, passed away, he took over the family business and worked hard at it for most of his adult life. He married his high school sweetheart and had his son Trevor John in 1990 and daughter McKenna Rose in 1994. He was a great father and always made sure his kids knew that he was proud of them. Dennis was a lover of all the best things in life: beer, bacon, and rock & roll. He loved animals and his big heart could not help but rescue as many as he could handle. He supported animal shelters and the Oakland Zoo - specifically the elephants. He was a proud Red Rocker and spent many nights at concerts and with his friends. Dennis loved his family and friends, and was always the first one willing to help when needed. He is survived by his children Trevor and McKenna Cramer, grandmother Virginia Marsh, mother Patricia Chavarria and companion Steve Caverly, father Rodger Cramer and stepmother Deanna Cramer, brother Todd Cramer, sister-in-law Leign Cramer, and nieces Sarah and Kristen Cramer, brother Mathew Cramer, sister-in-law Katherine, step-brother Bobby Chavarria, step-sisters Toni Wright and Cathy Mickey-Goodrich, first wife Sandie Fyke, second wife Ingrid Coolins and her daughter Isabella, close friends Keanna Coolins, Dennis Fregoso and Isaac Solsona, countless friends and coworkers, and his dog Leo. He will always be remembered with a beer in his hand and a smile on his face. Dennis’ family invites all family and friends to celebrate him on Tuesday, September 18th at 6 pm at Bronco Billy’s Pizza in Fremont, 41200 Blacow Rd. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Humane Society of Western Montana at myhswm.org/donate or mail checks to HSWM c/o McKenna Cramer, PO Box 1059, Missoula, MT 59806.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Very sad…I will remember Dennis as very personable, intelligent and kind.

  2. Dan and I want to send our deepest condolences to Dennis’ family and friends. His memory will always live on in our hearts. Growing up Dennis was very accepting of me as his step-sister even though I was the only girl in the pack. We spent several vacations and countless, weekends and holidays together and they were all fun times. Dennis was also hardworking, loyal and conscientious and my father (Bob) would of been proud of his many accomplishments. Rest In Peace Dennis❤️
